Our four-night stay at the Frames in June 2015 has to rank as one the most relaxing and satisfying getaways we've ever had. Arriving after a six-hour drive, our pre-ordered, restaurant-quality dinner was waiting in the fridge and all we had to do was pop the cork and enjoy the sunset from the elevated deck. But it's not only the view that's inspiring. The design and layout of the interior is tasteful, restful and very comfortable.
Provisioning at Frames is second-to-none with a range of delicious breakfast and during-the-day snacks part of the tariff (these were refreshed during our stay and included home-made croissants and crumpets. Just perfect with the local preserves and honey).
When not eating, we did, of course, do laps in our private heated lap pool and work off the calories on the house Neo bikes. Renmark can be hilly in parts - and we were grateful for those discrete electric motors fitted on the front wheel! The Frames is a perfect launching place to enjoy this interesting, historic citrus, wine and almond-growing region. We just loved it.
