Tesla road trip into the Riverland now possible thanks to The Frames
Luxury riverland accommodation destination The Frames pushes tourism and regional development boundaries even further with the installation of a Tesla 'destination' electric charging station at The Frames in Paringa just outside of Renmark.
As the first Tesla recharging point for accommodation in South Australia, owners of these prestige electric vehicles can now venture into the region, confident that they can explore and enjoy without risking their electric vehicles running out of 'fuel' whilst staying at The Frames luxury accommodation situated on the Murray River.
The Tesla re-charging facility creates tourism opportunities for the Riverland by luring the growing sector of affluent eco-tourists to the region.
Cathy and Rick Emonds, The Frames owners say that the Tesla 'Destination Recharging station' was part of the original design concept for The Frames which included numerous eco-aware aspects.
"Luxury accommodation doesn't have to be in conflict with an ecological mindset" says Cathy, "We designed and built The Frames to create a minimal ecological footprint."
Now the ability for Tesla electric cars to venture confidently into the Riverland will help boost that market here for all tourism operators in the region.
