On Friday 10th November, 11 Riverland businesses converged on the Adelaide Convention Centre and demonstrated to the South Australian Tourism Industry that our region is a force to be reckoned with.
It was the third year The Frames had entered in the self-contained accommodation category and having won the previous two years (2015, 2016) all fingers were crossed for being inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Nerves were uncontrollably high, and when the time came to read out the winner of the self-contained accommodation categeory we shut our eyes tightly and wished with all our might. Two words boomed out of the speakers - "The Frames" and our table erupted into celebrations.
It is an honour to be inducted into the South Australian Tourism Hall of Fame and we look forward to representing South Australia again at the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards in 2018. To be recognised among the best in South Australia is incredible and we wish to thank everyone for their continued support, especially our guests who we love providing a private and secluded space to relax and reconnect.
Our team is recognised for their commitment to providing a unique accommodation experience that can be tailored to include a range of tours. Our guests have the opportunity to explore the Murray River and encounter wildlife with a range of cruises and taste the Riverland with exclusive tours of local breweries, distilleries and wineries.
The latter is something that you wouldn't typically expect from an accommodation provider. However our deep love for the Murray River means that we want you to experience as a local would during your stay, creating a connection to place and memories to last a lifetime.
The Qantas Australian Tourism Awards will be held in Perth, February 2018 and Rick and Cathy Edmonds are proud to be representing South Australia and the Riverland at the event.
